Everyone has a brilliant product, a million dollar idea,a unique concept and a well structured business plan … the question is what are investors really looking for?
I have been doing some research to help you with this question.
To make things simple - Here is what I have learned:
1] Passion – Are you passionate about your idea? Does the excitement consume you inside out?
2] Management Skills – You may have a brilliant idea – but how are your management skills? Have you managed any other projects or people before?
3] Knowledge – Do you know everything there is to know about your idea? Do you know everything there is to know about the industry? Market? 5] Opportunity – Is your idea an incredible opportunity? Will your idea create a new product category in the market? Or has your idea –"missed the boat"?
6] Business Model- Bottom line: How will your idea make money?
